Tokyo Disneyland (1981)

Lithography on heavyweight paper, 4 pages, 11" x 8.5"

This informative and colorful 4-page brochure was produced by WDP in 1981 approximately two years before the opening of Disney's first Park outside the USA. Imagineer Herb Ryman's concept paintings for Cinderella Castle and World Bazaar are shown on the covers; inside are a color map of the area and an overview of the Park. The text provides details of the arrangement for the design and construction, an overview, and a look at each of the Lands: World Bazaar, Adventureland, Westernland, Fantasyland, and Tomorrowland.

It notes that "the Disney organization will assume responsibility for the design and master planning as well as provide guidance on all construction and operational aspects of the project." Furthermore, "financing will be the responsibility of the Japanese interests and Walt Disney Productions will receive a royalty percentage of the gross revenues from admissions, food and beverage and merchandise."
